SCTLF - a very unusual pick but great value and great diversification.

sec.gov

biz.yahoo.com

This is a Cayman Islands firm which offers life insurance, investment services and re-insurance. Just incorporated last year, SCTLF is expected to make .76 this year and 1.25 next year. The book value of their current investments is $14 - closing price yesterday was $10 3/8. Nice chart breakout after the usual post-IPO slump.

SCTLF is the top-rated Life Insurance company with 4 strong buys. I will recycle some Internut funds into SCTLF today.

If any financial geniuses out there spot any holes in SCTLF's balance sheet or business plan, let me know. Two board members also sit on the board of Sterling Software, and their Chief Insurance officer has experience at General Re (which BRKB bought last year). Everything here smells like roses.

Thoughts? Definitely not your average tech stock.

Hi Dale, thanks for your views on PTEK... I will tell you all the great things I can find about a company, then you can give me a reality check on the financial fundamentals... I certainly have a lot to learn there... really appreciate your sharing your knowledge in that area...

I will do some digging on LWIN and post what I find... busy day today, kids have a school holiday, and we are leaving for a cub scout campout at 3 this afternoon for which i have not even begun packing...

Kathy :))
