Ray: Thanks, but that is a Jersey, Channel Islands address, not London or the UK. I think the building you show is in the US. This is a thoroughly American company owned by an American doing its main insuring business in America and its subsidiary venture capital work in America yet putting on the veneer of a UK company. The registration in Jersey suggests an interest in preferential tax treatment and/or legal protection from foreign litigation. It is possible that the original idea was to benefit from proximity to the sophisticated international insurance underwriting in the City of London and perhaps this is why was listed on the London Stock Exchange.
