Netconductor: Excellent, timely post. Just today a more conservative friend (who is still tied to a full-service broker - guess where her information comes from) warned me to be careful with my net stocks because "they" are going to bring the prices of net stocks down based on their price earnings ratios. She also warned about sector rotation, inferring that the net is old hat, and money will start flowing into blue chips and small caps again while ignoring the net. I don't see it as anything long-term, and I can't believe how many people still think that the Internet is a passing fad that has run its course.

I would appreciate some educated comments on her warnings.

Long on CMGI, MSGI, AOL, and WWWFX
