hope your analysis for future earnings comes true, would like to see COHU back in the 50's sometimes this year.

as for new fabs, i dont think we will see that until 2000. there has been many fabs shut down the past year. they might be brought back on line but dont know if they will need new equipment.

someone on AMAT thread posted a few weeks back that utilization rates in Taiwan fabs are increasing. Do you know at what utilization rate they must reach before new foundries are built?

KLInvestor,

Given the recent announcements, despite DRAMs current price, COHU should benefit from any significant ramp-up of RDRAM. If this happens this year, it should be a significant driver for COHU in the memory market.

Market response looks pretty good this morning :)
