Software!! Just my opinion by I agree, EMC is transitioning into a major software vendor with their enterprise storage connectivity management applications. This has high profit possibilities and I believe EMC is well positioned to be the Gorilla in this rapidly expanding arena. Again, just my opinion. Bob Gauthier

I don't mean to imply Dell is going to do to EMC what they did to CPQ. It's just that they will start by going for the easier high profit low maintainence sales. Then if follow the same kind of plan they did in the server area they will make alliances for software and support and just keep creeping up the food chain. EMC will do fine so long as it doesn't sit still, after all EMC has a good head start. TP - (Who has fair sized positions in both companies and expects them both to do well)
