To all.. The size of our faith is never the issue. A mustard sized seed can speak to a mountain. You must have a 6.8 on a scale of 0 to 10 to be healed. ( just kidding ).( (a 2/3 majority) NOT.! How do you speak to a mountain. When you are walking across thin ice, is the issue the faith you have to get you to the other side of the river or is it truly the "object of your faith". What is the object of your faith. It had better be the thickness of the ice on that river. If you go out and inch your way along, lying on your belly, or you put on ice skates and go cruising along whistling, and praising God, who has the most faith; obviously the one whistling; but the man inching along will just as surely make it to the other side. Full of fright, terror, and uncertainty but he will make it, so the amount of our faith is never the issue. The issue again is how thick is the ice ? Will it hold you up or not ? Will the ice carry the weight of your problems or will it not. So, for most Christians, to me, the real issue is, do you crawl on your bellies to get through this life or do you go along whistling and singing. You see you have to get to know the ice.....how thick is it ? What was it like yesterday ? Is the ice softer this year than it was last year ? Are there areas to avoid when crossing the ice ( sin )(evil) (doubt/dispair). Do you live close enough to the ice to get a feel for the nature of it ? How many others have crossed the same area of ice before you. Were some of those more laden down than you, and did they make it across safely ? Why is there a reason to believe that you might not make it ? Or should you glorify God the whole way ? Just a few thoughts, maybe someone needs this today.........In Christ..gregor
