Advanced Micro sued by investors - law firm

NEW YORK, April 16 (Reuters) - Semiconductor maker Advanced Micro Devices Inc. was sued Friday by investors the company allegedly misled about problems it was having manufacturing computer chips, according to the law firm behind the suit.

Are you saying that AMD is producing K7s and stockpiling them for a big bang in June? They are bleeding money, yet they are building an inventory of finished parts, and not getting them to market ASAP?

I'm sure that part of the shortfall is due to ramping up K6-3, which doesn't seem to be going all that well. ASPs of $78 again in Q2, not many K6-3s in that mix.
