SF, well they were part of the 3 year chip bear. I believe the company has been reorganized to show reasonable growth this year, and especially going into YR2000 and beyond. Heck, LSI got slammed last Oct98 and I was a buyer in the $12 range, now its $35 bucks. Just a matter of timing, fundamentals, management, and product cycle. I look for those bird's nests on the ground. Haven't really lost a dollar using this strategy yet. I'm a fan of good companies in the $7-12 dollar stock range. They can double quickly from there (e.g. NOVL, LSI, FORE.....and now waiting for CY, DGN, and NE). good luck! GO!

RESEARCH WATCH
The following month-old public companies have undergone research initiations. Let's see how these four moonshots look after a month of public trading.

Internet or no, Sagent has an impressive customer list.
Next week's IPO calendar is more full.
Cheap Tickets and iVillage share a birthday.

Cheap Tickets (CTIX) sells discount tickets for leisure air travel, as well as cruise tickets and hotel reservations. Competitor Priceline.com (PCLN) zoomed to a high of $99 from its initial price of $16. And Cheap Tickets, to its credit, has real earnings. William Blair rates the stock a Buy, while Dain Rauscher Wessels makes it a Strong Buy.

Up 2 3/8 so far today and indicators are bullish, riding the upper bollinger on the 10 min chart today, Company is already profitable. a plus...I'm in :)N.C.
