Sorry, but brokers like pimps push the stocks they have put on the street. It works as the pimps are highly paid. Not objecting to the process as people pay more attention to what they offer than all the rest of stuff available.

Until XOMA uses Wall Street for a public offering of size it will get no respect from broker dealers. About 7 "advisory" letters have buys on XOMA, but they don't have the ability to move their customers into stocks the way broker dealers do.

Actually I think the Internet repeats what the broker/dealers say as well as what the "letters" say. BTW not arguing, just exchanging ideas.
