I agree as far as officiating the game goes, but I think that just like instant-replay before it, this will be a feature that armchair umpires will want so they can feel justified in cussing out the real umps <ggg>.

Buzz, the NFL is doing it. Also tennis uses electronic umps.
Baseball will do it eventually if only that it will be shown to be more accurate. Its the owners call, correct?
