My Intradays never supported yesterdays positive move .. thats happened a couple of times recently. Todays also look bad ... but I am tech weighted.

A couple of observations.

1) The so called broadening out i keep hearing looks like a blip in the chart to me. The downtrend line hasn't even been pierced yet.

2) Yesterday it was all hands on deck at Schwab to handle the incoming small investor looking to get his $2000 invested. Thats done with.

3) The adv/dec decline has been disguised by rotation, as we all know. This has been fueled by analysts hopping around with upgrades, whether warrented or not. This hasn't supported those without fundamentals for some stocks I follow (DIS,KO etc). Now that they are reaching for the Catepillars of the world, once they are over-valued, which sector can they go for next ??.

4) The idea that small-cap stocks are the next/last group ... flies in the face of logic given that those funds are contracting ...

Damn ... the baby wants her bottle ...

Gotta go

Stephen

New Lows are considerably below 40... They were much higher at this time yesterday...

What we are seeing is the reverse of what we saw before... A few big caps are taking a breather and masking the broader market improvement...
