For the second morning in a row Thompson I shows that if you are ooking at a pie chart as if you were looking at an analog clockface, the retail and institutional activity occupies the portion from 12 to 2 o'clock, and all of the rest is "misc." I could be wrong, but I see this all the time, and by the end of the day, Misc makes up a much smaller percentage. I don't know if MM's trade amongst themselves early and to the retail crowd late, or whether Thomson just can't classify some of the trades in real-time (there may be a delay) and until they can classify them, they are "misc" trades. Either is plausible. -Mike
