I have my IRA Certs. And the rest of mine is in cash acc. anyway, but

Yes just got off the phone with Discover, they can ONLY short what's on margin and against the balance you owe. My shares are ALL in cash thus NOT 'shortable'!

All my shares are in cash account.
Don't know about my IRA account, but I've called the cert. for those shares back already.
