It makes PERFECT sense for IBM to want Cyrix.. IBM has nothing to do with the PowerPC anymore and they have virtually no world class MPUs to make on their Cu process. Oh and then there is that whole thin client thing, with Java, etc.. you know.. a cheap thin client that IBM is going hard at the moment.. but, hey it's all speculation.
