Richard - I have followed gold and gold stocks for many years - have peddled them and owned them - have worked in the gold mining industry, and as a stockbroker. Until the last few years gold always seemed to go up on bad news, in fact a gold bug was someone who thrived on bad news and disasters of one kind or another, almost hoping for bad news. Recently this has not been the case - the present situation in Y'slavia being a case in point. Maybe there will be such a saturation of bad news that the tide will change - but it may happen because of a market collapse. But it will happen - hope springs eternal eh, John? dd
