<<We have gotten this far with Qualcomm because the company has spectacular fundamentals, wonderful management and a very bright long-term future. Stick to the fundamentals; understand what the business is worth and why. Then, if a bear market comes along, you won't panic and sell at the wrong time.>>

Gregg: Reminds me of something I read, again, last night in Philip Fisher's Uncommon Profits from Common Stocks where he talked about how he always bought stocks with a three year minimum commitment to holding them, regardless of anything that happened during that first three years. He said he only broke this rule once since early in his career when he formed the rule. He mentioned all the times that the rule had saved him from panicking and selling out a position in (what would become) an outstanding investment, all selected based on, (I draw from your post here) spectacular fundamentals, wonderful management and a very bright long-term future. I wonder how many people in todays market enter with a three year minimum commitment to their selection? ...Tim
