With all due respect, and I do respect you a great deal, they matter; however in a very ironic way:

1) They finally got Jerry to be cautious. We will see how long that lasts.

2) They finally got AMD to understate optimism. (same comment applies)

3) They finally got AMD to give prompt venting to the bad news. (same comment)

4) Somebody other than Jerry is calling some of the the public shots. (pure speculation on my part)

All of this, as well as some other more subtle effects is having a very welcome salutory effect on the stock performance.

I don't know if corporate law was your speciality but let me ask you a legal question. How about commenting on the vulnerability of the Board of Directors and the CEO IF (note "IF") it can be shown that they knowingly made false and misleading statements in their forecasts of business conditions.
