The official release regarding drilling at the South Midas was made by Blue Desert today. As indicated previously, the initial program calls for 3,000 feet in four deep holes. These holes will test the Maui fault and Wailea vein structure from which surface grab samples of quartz-carbonate vein and stockwork mineralization assayed trace to 0.76 oz/ton gold. The target structures are said to be of a similar style and orientation to ore-bearing structures at the Ken Snyder mine which is eight miles east. As confirmed by our chart indicators, the market is firming as expected. Our initial price target is $0.40.
