One of the guiding principle of the TSE (and/or most exchanges) is to maintain a fair and orderly market. Halting trading temporarily pending a significant news release is the only way to do this. It is just the standard practice.. happens dozens of times per day ... often for things much less significant than a NASDAQ listing... As I said, I think it would be truly exceptional if the course of events didn't follow the same sequence. The only other option would be to issue the press release after market hours... but given Berlin's involvement I'm not sure how that would work.
