Zack's says the earning is released on 4/28. So that's not moving the stock today. It was the big money that moved CREAF today. Anyone has access to professional trading data to find out which brokerage house did the buying?
In any case the $3+ move woke me up! It's about time for crying out loud!

It has to be related to MP3 NOMAD. DIMD, a CREAF competitor, thrived for a little bit on the MP3 craze (however, they were the first to the market). DIMD is the largest and I think sole competitor in MP3 right now so there's nothing but market share to be stolen.

CREAF has a good track record with audio peripherials. I suspect that the convention went well for them. Several months ago, I read that DIMD was selling 10,000 Rio's a week. At a retail price of $300, that's close to $3Mil in revenues ($36 million for the quarter).

For the quarter ending 12/31, revenues were $428Mil. An influx of MP3 revenue would add 8% to this number ($36/$428). That looks pretty good considering that quarter is the busiest time of the year for them.

Hope this hype holds up!
