EP says that "you'll see the numbers when they come out next week and we'll give an explanation of what happened this quarter." He talks as if it's not a big deal, that he can justify the shortfall, aand that things still look pretty good. Certainly part of the short fall was due to the Brazillian $$$ devaluation. That, I believe can be forgiven. EP should have his case well-prepred by Wednesday. I sure hope he doesn't dwell on excuses and comes with some positive news and a positive outlook. I know that he should be truthful, even if he doesn't know it, but if he screws this one up, we'll know he's just plain DUMB. I hadn't seen the interview before, only clips from it. Although the pc may eventually be phased out or replaced by some else, it is still and will continue to be THE way to access this growing internet craze. next Christmas should be a bang up selling period. back to school should be great. Even if margins have splipped, I believe that the pc demand which seems to have slipped in q1 will pick up agin in the last 1/2, 2000 or no. I just hate to wait another 6 months to get to break even.
