Gee. I once had a rabid dog. I really loved that dog. But, it still had to be destroyed. It was the best thing to do so that my neighbors could live in peace. Also, rabies can spread.

Chris, Better stated that the USA, not NATO has the "power". In fact my sources say that not only the Russians, but the French and Germans are concerned about this raw flexing and extension of USA's post-cold war power in eastern Europe...
