I think there's a couple things here. First, in my opinion, E*trade needs to penalize people somehow for flipping. Second, E*trade needs to have a better system for allocating shares. Whether that gets into how much money is in someone's account or number of trades or how long they've been with E*trade or even a "lottery" for those that express interest, I honestly believe they need to revamp and improve their allocation system. Personally, Platinum traders get a lot that non-Platinum customers get already for free, so why give them additional priviliges in IPOs. I for one did not get any PCLN because it wasn't listed on the customer bulletin page, and I wasn't very happy about it. Just my two cents worth.

FYI, i havent flipped any of my Wit shares(etrade is another matter).....thanks for showing ur concern regarding my future prospects with ipo's....nice to know ur thinking of me....guess im abit more altruistic as i actually hope u DO receive shares in the future....in my opinion, its more prudent to learn to play this game with astute alacrity, then u dont have to worry about whether others get shares or not.
