TUNA,

VLAD thinks TUNA is a little mixed up on the political party that puts big pharma $$$ over science, safety and practicality. Don't forget who the Viagra poster boy is. Hint: He is not a democrat.

Well I guess we do agree on one thing--ie that $$ and politics prevail on this issue regardless of which political party's pocket's have the greatest amount of Pfizer $$ in it.

Next issue:

Did you know that according to the Freedom of Information act, in the USA alone there has already been over 430 Viagra linked deaths for 9 million scripts written!(and this is OLD data)

That's about one Viagra linked death for every 20,000 prescriptions written! The VLAD says that that is F####### UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!

Nowhere in the history of modern pharmaceuticals have we seen such a ratio--NOT EVEN CLOSE! Yet the FDA continues to look in the other direction and tout the same old Pfizer party line. Seems like the safety study done by Vivus which demonstrated that cardiac patients who used MUSE had less of a chance of a coronary incident than those who attempted to have sex on placebo was meaningless. The concept is simple--since MUSE has a LOCAL vasodilatory effect the heart doesn't have to pump harder as does with the placebo patient.

So much for good science. The FDA will continue to cover Pfizer's a## so long as the Pfizer political contributions continue to flow into the politician's campaign coiffeurs. Tis the American way!
