you have been busy huh. how does your broker treat the margin requirements for puts. mine (jack white/waterhouse securities) is 25% of underlying stock plus current premium minus out of the money while brown is 20%. have to be careful with margin calls, especially nasdaq down 111% for the week and dow reahed new highs daily.

analysts say valuation. what valuation? dlj just raised the target price for amazon to 280+. i think mohan is right that brokerage firms need more commission. what better way than by rotating the sector. whirlpool up 5+, give me a break.

i think technology is still the place. remember early october 98? it lasted less than 1 month. dell was at 20, qcom at 38, csco at 40 etc etc.
