Also Kelly said it very well. Why not buy a pair of earrings and check them out at your appraisel. I mean half of you guys are putting in thousands and thousands of dollars. Why not spend a little on some earings to try the product?

I urge anyone that has just purchased jewelry to take the product to a different jeweler and ask him/her what it is worth...Its just like this stock...everyone will have an opinion. That opinion will usually be indicative of your position...in this case the jeweler will tell you that he could of gotten you either the same earrings or better ones at a cheaper price....

Well, this is not the case. There are specific industry standards when grading gemstones. And also, since this person indicated that the jewelry was of such poor quality, I would also conclude that the setting was not 10K or 14K gold, which would have fetched more than $2 for the set. This cannot be tampered with as gold is stamped. Unless of course, the jewelry is assembled in a foreign country... they don't all stamp their gold, but most do.
