Would you please provide the name and number of your broker so that people can confirm the legitimacy of your post. Not that I don't trust you but you know how it is.

Who's your broker? Did he also give you a timely warning on Compaq? He won't get my shares at any discount price. Either you believe or you should invest in mutual funds. That's my 2 cents.

regards;
jt

Andreas, you will have to act or not act on your broker's advice, he is your broker. I don't have a broker, so I have to make my own decisions. And if I had listened to broker's comments on AOL I would never have bought in at my average of $45, because they said it was too high. Also, I heard another broker/analyst on the radio today say he is telling his customers that AOL at 135 is a good entry point. Also, keep in mind that your broker does not make any money unless you trade in and out of your stocks. This is not to say he is right or wrong, but just something to consider.

Broker wants you to sell? What a shock! Earnings are coming out in 2 weeks??..maybe another split? Is this not the best overall rated stock out there? Other fund managers copy Fidelity? IMO I do not think so..

Fidelity selling is like a oil tanker trying to turn around in a narrow river. If he is correct, your broker, which stocks do you think are going to come back the fastest?

Did you watch CMGI go from 330 to 220 and back to 283 in 24 hours this week? Do you see my point?

If you buy the top 10 internet stocks you have the stocks responsible for earning 90% of the $$$ 0n the web.

When they were selling at the end of the day...I was a buyer.

You own the best stock in the world right now..relax and enjoy your week end!! :)

Hi Andreas!

FWIW: I attended yesterday a one-day seminar, given by a renowned firm (this group of 3 distinguished gentlemen giving the seminar also have a weekly radio show). Yes, they are bullish on AOL for the long term, but, after the seminar, to a group of 6 people asking about AOL, one of them said that if AOL goes up next week he will sell into the rally, for himself and for his clients, because he believes he can buy it back lower, around 120 or 100!!

Thanks for sharing your info.
