Great answers Steve. Appreciate your in-depth response. BTW, has your trading of EMC over the past 3 years kept up with someone using a buy and hold strategy? Just curious if you are able to time entry and exits with nimble success. Good luck going into next week.

Also, just read that Fidellity Magellan fund was really lightening up on techs last quarter, and moving into cyclicals/energy etc. based on valuation principles. Well, seems like the techs may continue to correct a bit further, then its time to buy them up! Regards, QuadK

SJS, I agree about EMC, and feel their meeting or exceeding their aggressive earnings and revenues growth is as close to in the bag as it gets for a big tech company. Storage sales are booming everywhere. I have first hand knowledge about another company, with products similar to EMC's, doing extremely well, second hand about another. That's right right now, this quarter. I also know that EMC is still pulling away from both of them. There is so much business that all are cleaning up. My only regret was knowing EMC was doing this as much as five years ago, and not buying the stock :-( But, better late than never.

It's too
late to call EMC's investor relations today (and they are closed Monday for a
Mass holiday)

Yes, Patriots' Day and the Boston Marathon. It starts in Hopkinton, practically at EMC headquarters, finishes in Boston, and goes right by Fenway Park. Nostalgic for me to remember going out onto the street between games of a Red Sox doubleheader to watch the runners go by. That's what you call the good old days.

Tony

SJS,

i appreciate your comments a great deal. this stock is a great deal at this price, and the company's integrity is at stake commenting that they expect the 30% growth to continue.
