ALTA bags shareholders.

Forget bank runs, investors are running from ALTA and running fast.

"I've fallen and I can't get up," sez pratfallen ALTA. Things aren't lookin' good for the junior mining company from Henderson, Nevada. Shareholders turning over company card tables and lemonade is flowing in the streets. Says CEO Pratt, "If you've got lemons, make..." and he smiled.

Don't expect ALTA to reopen soon. Chances are better you'll be stuck in ALTA Y2K New Year's Day than an elevator. The elevator is heading for the ground floor and the doors read, "Don't open 'til Christmas."

Was that the opening bell or the fire alarm? Shareholders are hot & bothered.

That's it for now.
