Hello Gemsearcher,

I believe that there are two reasons SUF went ahead with Camafuca. First the pipe will provide a fair bit of cash flow for many years to come and it can be bulked mined which is cheap. This pipe has been drilled to death in the past and any further drilling would only add more data to the already filled bin of past data on this pipe. I think that SUF is very comfortable with what they believe is there. At present security is not a big problem althought it may be in the future. I feel comfortable that this project will mean another operating mine for SUF and a cheap one at that.

The other reason is that Angola is noted for its high quality Diamonds and plenty of them. I suspect that companies who stick it out in Angola despite the war, will be rewarded with concessions when the fighting is over. The war will not last forever and SUF will be in a position to aid the recovery of the country by providing employment and taxes.

No matter who wins, foreign companies and investment will be required to get Angola back on its feet. (I happen to think that the government will prevail).

Vaughn is also right about the near term stock price. When a stock is as badly beaten as SUF has been, it takes a while to recover. Positive NWT news will do just that. If the NWT is a bust SUF will still recover but it will only be on earnings and not potential. Fantastic earnings will come it will just take a while without NWT. Let us all hope that we get a big one in Vaughn's neck of the woods.

My two cents worth.

Cheers !!! Peter
