Folks,

It seems to me that I recall that several countries just approved Viagra for sales late in this quarter, i.e. Canada, Japan, China, etc.

Wouldn't that imply that with the new markets opening up that sales growth should escalate not decline next quarter??? I would think it would take major declines in the US to offset overseas expanding sales.

Just my layman's thoughts. Always amazes me that perception drives the market not reality. Meeting earnings expectations is not as important as predictions about the future!!

Regards.

Gary

Celebrex is selling well but Searle canned 4 advanced projects about 2 months ago and they really don't have much else of significance. Also, the Street has a very difficult time understanding their ag business which I happen to think it's the world's best. (some firms still have their chemical analyst following MTC!!) Lastly, I think they have a terrible public relations skill in my opinion. Lastly, I think a lot of people lost a lot of money and confidence after the MTC/AHP debacle.

All these combined make MTC an "unloved" company in some people's eyes.
