COMS.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but when is 3Com going to produce a digital modem? It seems to me that there is a big market for digital modems given that most cellular systems are digital, including Sprint PCS and AT&T. I can't even connect my Sprint PCS cellular phone to my laptop because I have a digital only cellular phone. I don't understand the technical challenges in creating a digital modem but it just doesn't seem like it should be that big of a deal. Could this be one reason why 3Com's modem business is slowing? It sure would be nice to be able to connect my laptop to my cellular phone while sitting in an airport or a meeting... or the beach lol.
