An intelligent view from a Yahoo poster:

Malta is a smooth move, cost effective, and shows that these guys have the talent to persue and capture good TIFs and incentive programs. It is news like this that builds my confidence that AXC has been working very hard on the details. I am too accostomed to "XXX openning an office in London to push blah blah expansion". This was smart expansion, detailed, and sends a signal to investors that money will not be squandered, news releases will not be flowery, that AXCV intends to be around on more than news. MM are staying in when they see this type of management. I am so suprised that some of you do not think this stock is moving fast enough! I've doubled in a few weeks and I am staying. I have been observing the movements AXC has been making. First, invest in good management, these guys have taken storage and dwindling defense contracts to new levels. They have made a supurb transition and the stock price reflects it. Not only that, but, and in advance, sorry if I offend "pure internet players", but they are also showing that this flight to internet expansion and news release is not just a pump and dump because their core is melting....the HP dealandthe rest show that this company does not intent to be spritzy news releases only about web pages that jack stock prices and draw day traders that destabalize long investors like myelf. Thankfully, they will work on core cash flow and expansion of core business that will stabalize their web expansion prjects. To perform this well in the recent correction is evidence that other investors and Investment bankers do not view this stock as dimly and apt to correction as every other stock that catches a breeze. This week is evidence, and I am pleased. Does anyone know more about how they intend to expand within the beltway? I think the beltway is ripe for them to take and I am hungry for any news in this quarter?? Go longs...

Methinks some of you don't know what drives a stock price up. Except for the NASDAQ it's an auction. If you bid at 5 and someone else bids 5 1/8 the higher price gets filled. Market orders affect the price change by filling the higher bid or lower ask. Then the bid or ask goes to the next higher ask or lower bid. But if volume is high it is likely someone has allready placed a higher bid or lower ask. I have often seen bid ask at the same price. Because that is where someone placed them at and the trade had not yet been filled. On a day like this when 95% of the trades were placed by institutions and mutual funds (retail?). I can understand why if some small investor placed a bid at 5 for 100 shares. the night before (hoping to get lucky) and all institution trades at 5 5/8 gets filled. And no other investor has placed a bid. Well the price goes to 5 and some poor sot who placed a market order thinking it will fill at 5 5/8's takes it in the shorts. Rule don't place market orders. Just limit and stops. Good idea to place stop limit orders to.
