Howdy Jed, so you got a feeling Something Big's Coming soon for GNET huh, Yellow Dogs got you up early for The Happening, now that's what I call good news! Not a bad idea about trading CPigQ
for more Gnet, either, not bad a'tall, think I'll do so. But maybe not ALL the shares though, holding back a few to keep it on the Radar Screen's the only way to get a front row seat IF...I mean, looky at the longtime frustration on the stock's threads, just about the worst anywhere, kinda like I picture an Esalen session at Big Sur way past its time about the mid- '80's or one of those Werner Groups if ya know what I mean....Jed if/when The Pig starts to announce the AltaVista IPO Dotcom stuff SHEEZA GONNA BLOW SKYHIGH like a One Day 909er Squared, dont'cha think? A front row seat to That might just be worth the wait. Awwww, Jed, What Is It about That Stock that's like a Monkey On Yer Back, or like The Twilight Zone episode with the whispering slot machine in the bedroom? WHAT IS IT ABOUT IT ??? HOW EASY WILL IT BE TO PUSH THAT BUTTON? Talk about that Mellow Yellow Very Next Phrase "Sticky"...Cpqs Dotcom could have folks passing out in their puter chairs from dehydration and sleep deprivation because the ISP booting 'em off for inactivity would be the only way to get away from the durn thang!!
This is what you were afraid I'd say, isn't it? If so, Back at'cha, I was afraid I'd say it, too... &;o)
Who ya gonna call?
909,
Joanie

Hi techride buddies, I missed posting on the thread this week, too much work, and what a week to be busy during market hours. Wanted to scream when the client called with job changes just as the nets started to swoon...couldn't even watch the tickers. Missed buying more of my favorite GNET. During market hours yet - how dare they - ya think they'd know by now I'm up to something. Something about that never being available around 9-10 am and 3-4 pm, with CNBC in the background when they call <vbg>

Thank goodness I don't ever have to worry about my GNET doing something horrible when I'm not watching. It's been that way since I bought my first $18 shares of this great company. Let's you sleep at night. Unusual for an internut, wouldn't you say? :)

I am thinking of writing an e-mail to Russell Horowitz regarding two things which I think our go2net home pages are sorely lacking. These alone are the ONLY reasons that I ever visit yahoo or use my personalized Excite page. If go2net had these two things below, then I would banish those sites from my bookmarks FOREVER!

1. NEWS ITEMS on our stock tickers listed on the home page - (or the portfolio page would be fine) like Yahoo does. I keep a Yahoo portfolio and watch list just to catch the news items

2. PERSONAL LINKS on our homepages - a little section where we can list our favorite links for easy access (that gives you the best reason to leave open or go back to your go2net home page constantly - more hits for go2net)

These items, fellow techriders would make my GNET home page just peachy, or doubleplus good as Joanie would say, and I would never have to visit those OTHER sites, of which I hold no personal stake in anyway anymore :)
So tell me what you all think, and if you can think of more additions please post them. We can only ask for so many though...so I'm controlling myself here. I will add them to my e-mail next week. But
if I know GNET, they already have these items on their to-do list.

Have a good weekend, Susan

PS Joanie..I truly love your morning updates.. I'm always ROFLMAO. :) makes me smile and psychs me up for those whipsaw days...
