On the iron side, one should also list RNTK/Texaco ... again, a potential adversary with v-e-r-y deep pockets.

I'm sure all this will be disclosed in the long run, but for the time being, it represents unanswered questions.

I believe you to be wrong on this statement. I know one of the principals on the deal team personally - and news, though delayed is imminent and significant.

Unfortunately I don't have the technical acumen to reply to some of the questions you have on the technology, but I'm working on getting the company to clarify the points made here.
