HAPPY HOUR REPORT Sorry for the delay but I finally got REW off my damn couch!! Ok..down to bidness..everyone met at the airport in Houston TX so we could caravan to the HH destination, the not so famous Rowdy Bull Saloon. I have to say many of us were out of our element, but none as Much as Baldy..apparently the British accent is viewed as a foreign language and all the Cowboys kept asking him to "speak American". Susie8675309 was a big hit..she won $50 in the "Daisy Duke" shorts contest this picture was snapped of her by Sam home.att.net She Barely beat out sammie and BCEagles..Ditch Digger thought they said the "Boss Hog" look a like contest and wanted to enter, he was a shoe in to win that one. Andrew and Phil were afraid to come inside when a Cowpoke at the Bar motioned to them to come sit next to him..they said it wouldn't have been a problem except Peacelover told them that it was bubba from SI jail out on a weekend pass..and he likes pretty boys like "them two". Chuckr joined us this time, he said he couldn't resist the Cowboy flare..plus "Rocky Butts drive him Nuts" whatever that means!!lol. The really big surprise was how many of the thread members are big fans of the "Urban Cowboy". All eyes were fixed on the menacing mechanical bull in the far off corner. Sam was first and was thrown before the operator even started the machine (soft east coaster) then Kekoa tried his luck, he did a little better but was knocked out for a short time. V$gas felt like he was man enough (I think they call that beer muscles) he put up a good fight for a few seconds but was quickly tossed clear of the matts..ouch!!. Next it was REW..yes our messanger our level headed collegue..not at HH!! REW had been drinking black label all night..the jostleing of the bull was a bit much for him and sent him running for the bathroom (I will spare the thread of this pic, but if you want to see REW racked out on my couch boyd was nice enough to click this pic.. iamdrunk.com Every one of us that tried the bull failed..(yes including you Zbyte)the regulars were laughing at us all..just when we were about to stop laughing at REW..I mean trying to master the Bull, a strange figure walked through the doors and into the smokey air (guess who it was) thats right DR. FRANKEL!! Marty climbed onto the Bull like a seasoned Rodeo 'guy'. The operator started the machine on low..Marty looked at the young whipper snapper laughed and said "son why don't you get someone who knows how to work this machine"..well this was it for the young operator, he turned it up to the highest level..Marty was still unphased. As the seconds ticked by the regulars started to gather around the Bull..they could not believe their eyes, there was even talk about a new record..Marty continued to ride, breaking the fabled record of 17 seconds by nearly 2hrs. When his ride was finished he calmy sauntered to the bar...ordered a Diet Coke with a twist of lime and a tube of preparation H..ouch!! Before the night was over chapin put on a demonstration of what he learned in college (once again award winning photography by Boyd) iamdrunk.com and SDakota98 decided to demonstrate how "smooth Tequila" is..I belive that is securit to SD98's left. iamdrunk.com Sorry TOPFUEL..you are just too darn tame nothing good to talk about on you..lol!! Thanks again to all of the attendees to this weeks HH, and sorry for it being so late..but that darn REW sleeps lock a log!! See you all next Friday when we do it all over again!!! After all in the immortal words of the Band Lover Boy.."every body's workin for the weekend".
