I have followed (and owned) VDAT for three years and DNET for more than a year, and while I agree they are both good companies and they may well fly (in fact they already have; calculate percentages over the last 4 months!), I would be very surprised if a buyout occurs near-term. VDAT will obviously drive this decision since it controls DNET, and the VDAT principals will hold out for a lot more money than they could get in a buyout today. They know what they've got and they'll hold onto it until the price is right. That's probably 1-3 years out. JMHO; do your own DD, but if you buy on the rumor of a buyout, don't say I didn't warn you. Fund
