Myself; I use Schwab. Switched over to them from Olde years ago because one of the brokers at Olde would not stop calling me with his "hot" stocks. Maybe his picks have done much better than mine - I only remember Vericheck(?)/Verifone(?). Eventually, he started inquiring about my stock picks when he would call. He wanted to know how I'd found out about them and even what their business was. I told him that my research involved little more than taking apart a few pc's and checking out the components - LSI Logic, Quantum,...etc. My research methods have gotten more refined since then, but I still want to call my own shots. It's a comfort thing for me. I'd rather make it or break it on my own. But I can respect that not everyone feels as I do. At least it keeps those broker type off the streets<vbg>!
