dclapp......re:propane tank.......Get your 120 gal tank installed...then you can piggyback another tank of 120 to the existing tank..........just went through this today and my service will be here on Monday to give me specifics and site.....

It is the 300 tank that is the 10' requirements......

Check out the piggyback......then negotiate the price with the party who is your supplier for a cost break, as it is cheaper to get a 300 filled or topped than the 120 (124, I think is the actual).....then work on them (negotiate) for the lease rate on the tanks....

It can be done....go for it.......Karen

<<Since I don't want a tank in the middle of my yard>>

Doug: Any reason you can't put the tank at the edge of your yard, instead of the middle, and have an inexpensive small diameter pipe run underground to your house? This is the most common type of installation I see around my neck of the woods. Just a thought; maybe it wouldn't work in your situation. ...Tim
