OT(maybe not?)

here is the other side, actually not even the other side, just a fairly even handed account of the balkans by a former UN troop commander.

Interestingly, I haven't seen the Muslim world volunteering to take refugees. Even Israel has taken a small token number. About 150 if I remember correctly.

Dave : With all due respect and I recognise how upset you seem to be BUT --- the airstrikes did not stop the genocide.

In fact, NATO's intervention has made things considerably worse for the very people it was alleged to help

And, Milosevic is now stronger than ever.

There is a Latin dictum which medics are supposed to know but is applicable here --- "Primum non nocere". It means, first of all do no harm.

It is Noble to bomb a sovereign country fighting successionists?

If the EthAlb had the material they would be killing Serbs too.

What about Sherman's March to the Sea? I see no difference.

If the Amercian Civil War was going on today would you OK the Brits or French to bomb Washington?

War is NEVER Noble.....
