Hi John, that example shows a 6 and 10 weighted moving average. I like to use the weighted because of the emphasis on recent data but simple MA's give guidance as well. TA can help anyone in the decision making process and if you can develop the discipline to sell on a signal...it can help keep you on the right side of a major move. As I said that was a simplified example but one I always view in addition to many other things. Interesting thing about the OSX, if you check the historical chart, it's not prone to subtleties, when it moves, it moves. Stan
