THE VERY SAME RHETORIC was used to smooze us into staying in Viet Nam. At this time various NATO countries have taken refugees, at first on a temporary basis, although i have my doubts about that. It disturbs me that more Muslim countries (maybe Turkey) haven't pitched in. Where are the big oil producing nations for instance? You say that Muslim countries would have eventually stepped in. Sure doesn't look like it. Apparently we are the only country that cares enough to do anything. NATO is just the USA IMHO. What do the European countries know that we don't? Jim

Hi I was listening to one of the talk shows last nite on TV and Susan Eisenhower was on(granddaughter of Ike) and she said there is growing in tension now in russia among the muslims and slavs.. I think you hit about a frightening point.. I liked the idea of the former Yugoslavian prime minister..who said cease bombing for a day.. tell MS to resign..drop leaflets to the Serbs saying it is MS not the serbs Nato is after.. If he doesn't resign ..resume bombing while flooding region with fliers dropped from planes. Here something frightening..that there could be no way for partition since most of natural resources of Kosovo are in the area that would be annexed to Serbia..
