Just got the Financial Post...we hit the front page...big surprise. The article was already posted here.

Ari..I think we may have seen some fund buying on Friday but I guarantee that they are going to be burning the midnight candle this weekend trying to decide a strategy on this stock. With a market cap 30 times less than Ballard I can't see any fund manager in a high growth fund not buying some shares next week.

I went through the trade list and found 35 trades were done with buys between 10,000 and 30,000 shares and in the last hour or so of trading I see buys for 67,000, 65,000, 100,000, and 350,000. If these aren't funds then they are really rich retail investors. However the bulk of the trades were in the $5,000-$20,000 which I would classify as retail in a stock like this.

I therefore would agree with your statement that most of the buying was retail in nature which could be great for the price next week when the bulk of the retail public hears this news. We all know what retail mania can do for a stock (e.g BII). It was hard for a novice retail investor to know how much GLE would be worth if they got into remote powering, telecommunications or home based power supplies but everyone can relate to the auto industry.

Best Regards
