I do all my options trading at Dreyfus, since E*Trade wouldn't let me buy calls or puts. Their loss, as far as I'm concerned.

My experience with Dreyfus has been great. Unlike E*Trade they have a simple, fast interface. I only do the occasional option trade there so I don't know how they would be for frequent stock trading. But $15 per trade is nice.

Options are as volatile as they are made out to be. I don't usually discuss numbers but you should know that I opened the account with $2K, ran it to $4K, saw it drop to $550 and now have it up to $8K.

Couldn't afford to watch my main portfolio jump around like that (though the four-bagger gain would be nice!).
