glenn, if it is true that the market looks 6 months or more ahead, rmbs should start making a serious move. i was a little surprised on friday afternoon when i saw the 4x10k and 1x30k blocks get sold at the ask or better in one hour. gary predicted the closing price early in the day. i wonder if it was held back because the mm's had bid to sell the blocks earlier or due to options expiry as gary suggested. come to think of it...gary! what or who do you know? friday afternoon + market slowing down late in the day + naz down + rmbs down = good buy day for institutions. for me too. i will continue to look for big block buys. it won't take a lot of days like friday to really move rmbs particularly with the short situation. unclewest
