Yes, could be, but I just noticed "double printing" by the MM's on my trades, so the actual volume could be as much as 50% less.

I was also told by Orville that there was/is a group shorting KYOM. Their position is/was relatively modest (100K shares or so), so it is not too significant but it might explain the herky jerky action. I would think this group was a bit surprised by all the sudden volume on Friday.

Anyway, the float may indeed be a bit higher, but double printing and minor shorting may have accounted for some of the action.

PS-- I actually hate low floats....makes for too volatile a stock anyway. They can run up too fast. I generally like stocks with 1-5 million in the float as long as the volume is good, and steady stock movement (i./e up a bit for several days in a row)
