Internet Index.

Checkmate,

I know of one Internet Index that is quoted and traded. It's called the Goldman Sachs Technology Index (GSTI) Internet Index. The symbol is GIN or it might be GIN.X on some quotation services. Options are available on the CBOE under the root symbol GIN. cboe.pcquote.com You can read some information about the GSTI Indexes at goldmansachs.com

There's also an Internet index called ISDEX but I don't think it trades.

Best of luck,

Dan

Just keep in mind that the latest I have read is that we are talking about a 161 billion dollar market. These internet stocks might not be so far ahead of themselves after all. I'll tell you this; I was at CompUSA today and there are 10X more people there than a year ago and they are all mom and pop types; not the computer nerds like me a year ago. Also; my household is buying now 10% of things through the internet; up from about 1% last year. Internet commerce is exploding. There may not be as much bubble as it seems.
