Lighten up yourself, SF. These guys are just discussing a company that is exemplified by stuff like the following from their own web page....

"According to Cooley [Tom Cooley, president of Houston-based Carbon Resources], it takes 0.3 kWh of electricity to produce a barrel of liquid."

......what's that, about 2-3 cents worth of electricity for a barrel of product if the gas is free (stranded/flared)?

WOW!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!

.......credible?????

You know, if your sense of good manners doesn't govern your behavior, perhaps your ability to confirm *facts* should.

As far as OILS goes, I have no position (and have no plans to take one). But I have been active on this thread since the ATNY days ... perhaps a year or more. And active on the RNTK thread for considerably longer than that. (I do have a modest long position in RNTK because I am particularly interested in the ability to handle "refinery bottoms".)

Technogeek? Elitist? Who knows, but I'm not sure what that either of those have to do with the ability to share information with other investors who prefer to consider facts along with obvious momentum.

Happy Due Diligence.

JSb.

<<So... when did you guys go short on this stock? Or are you a couple of hopeless TechnoGeeks? Or just undisguised elitists? Lighten up & enjoy the ride! SF>>

A classic post, Sportdude. You're right, details can be such bummers....

I have no problem with speculators in this or any stock. I just find it amazing that this company cannot thus far attract any INVESTORS who at least understand what OILS does and can articulate ANY point of view. On the other hand, momentum guys like you will be out of this stock in a heartbeat when the wind shifts. You're hardly in a position to school posters on this thread.

Thanks to 'raisinkane' from Raging Bull, I now also understand that a spokesman from OILS stated that they intend to use a "cobalt catalyst without a slurry reactor". Very interesting....perhaps OILS does have something here if they've been able to successfully construct a cobalt-based FT non-slurry reactor. Do any OILS 'investors' find this interesting or is this just some more technogeek stuff?
