Of course, No one can tell for sure what the numbers will be at certain time in the future, or the stock price would have reflected that number already. I bought into this stock for the same reason that I am holding now:

1. pc price continues to drop which will spur more on-line users.

2. aol's revenue base continues to shift to online advertisement and retail which have high margins.

3. Internet is the future and is for real. aol is the blue chip company in this field and most likely would be the winner. This notion or perception will support this stock in good time or bad time.

4. aol continues to expand its user base through other connect means other than pc.

Short term: aol just released its subscribers number which implies earning will good at least in the part of subscribers' fees. Advertisement and retail revenue will likely be good too given yhoo's number just released not long ago.

Andreas: You made a mistake by not asking and seeking your own questions/answers before paying $145/share for AOL, what is your choice now? If sell it will give you comfort or sound sleep then sell, if you need assurance from this board, I think there are plenty, after all, like you said, we are all grown ups, we are responsible
for our own behavior, you bought it based on your own judgement and wish to make money at the end but now you have doubt and you are
scared, so sell AOL is a better choice for you!

Andreas,

Again, from yesterday's seminar: growth rate for AOL 88% - revenues 6 billions. Value on cash flow - earning are not the issue.

Fiscal year ends in June.
Present subscribers: 17 million
Goal: 23 million subscribers by end of June 2000

They also said AOL is a buy at 132/135 level but possibly could go down further.

We are almost there! I will start to buy at that level and add to it if it goes down further.
