>>It will be a great big retailer spanning the Internet but there will be severe competition as well.<<
Rs, good post. I talked to Seattle this morning and I hear the weathers good up there.
You mentioned above "great big", the media has been calling the "Thing", the giant, monster or juggernaut for almost a year, in case you missed it.:-).
As far as the competition is concerned. I think that as we go forward most of them will go busto as they run out of $money.
Bezos won't. I know, you know that.
Do you remember last year when Glenn and I thought that Bezos would run out of $money?
Morgan Stanley sure proved us wrong. Don't you think??
Ps
BTW I own MS stock. I love a company that invests other peoples money, rather than their own and makes a huge $commission in the process, while their investors take all the risk.
Don't you??

I don't know,
brand extension could be just the
fibrous weave to make a 30 billion dollar co....

Some observers have thought that Amazon would go out of business or run out of money
in their "ponzi scheme" of buying customers.

Rob,

It is your opinion that the equity market will give Amazon even more money when the current cash is gone? I suspect they will not and this cash will be gone in about 18 more months.
